Pan Urania PANHOUSE structures go beyond the traditional structural idea of bearing frame, introducing the concept of bearing prefab steel panels structure. In this sense PANHOUSE structures are an element of absolute innovation in the world of light prefab structures.
PANHOUSE structures are made of foamed panels, for external and internal plugging: their peculiarity is that they also have a bearing function. The panels are installed on a system of steel tracks, fixed on the foundation, that enables a quick assembling process and such a precision to exclude any possible installation mistake. The top part of the vertical panels has a shape that allows the placing of the false ceiling horizontal panel and the roofing inclined panel.
Of course, all the panels are fixed to the metallic profiles and to each other with self-tapping screws. In this way we obtain a structure with a “box” behaviour, which is ideal for the reaction to seismic actions and also to horizontal actions such as wind. PANHOUSE buildings grant a high thermal and acoustic insulation, thanks to the composition of the internal, external, vertical and horizontal panels. In this sense, it is essential to have the possibility of creating a ventilated roof. For each of the produced standard model, it is possible to put together single PANHOUSE buildings following different schemes, thus creating a different distribution of the volumes and of light-shadow.
These can be chosen on the basis of the characteristics of the place where they need to be installed and depending on the customer’s aesthetic preferences. The external finish of PANHOUSE structures may be part of the panel itself, as external surface (plastering, fibrocement…) or it may be fixed on the panel (wooden plates, etc…)
